My name is Louie Ferrera. I’m a retired elementary school teacher and father of twins. I’ve always enjoyed writing. When out in nature or traveling, I like keep a journal. I find journaling a great way to reflect on my experiences in real time. Reading my journal entries is a fun way to look back and to remember. As a guitar player, I’ve written and recorded two cds of original songs. In the fall of 2019, I took a creative writing class at the local junior college. This was a wonderful class and it got me really energized about writing. I realized that I had a lot to say and wanted to share my work with a larger audience outside of family and friends.
